Canada doesn't have states.

A job offer is not necessarily enough.

It seems like you really haven't done any research. You need to dedicate time to researching the various programs and their requirements or alternatively hire an immigration lawyer to help you.
Will do. What about investment programs, any idea if they are a better way forward? I can manage some investment funds, but I have no knowledge. Would you suggest investment paths to PR a better way if someone can manage to invest? Thanks for your guidance.

What do you mean by investments? You can look into a start up visa through and incubator or with venture capitalists with your business plan. Show you have experience running a business etc. Same for PNP entrepreneur programs but show high net worth and your business plan etc.

Thank you. Yes, I was looking for this information you shared.
Is the manager/owner experience requried for ontario-entrepreneur-stream or B.C. Entrepreneur Immigration, a very strict requirement?
While I can work towards satisfying the investment and net worth requirements, I do not have any managerial or owner experience.

I thought Ontario's program closed. BC entrepreneur program in the link. Requirements are strict and you need experience in running a business.

Same answer as before. You need to dedicate some actual time to researching immigration program requirements if you are serious about this. Or hire an immigraiton lawyer.

Thank you. yes, I am serious. Will do now, that I have an excuse since I lost my job in US. If I don't do it now, I will never find an excuse again, once I am settled into another job again in US. It is a vicious cycle on H1B. You work hard not to get laid off but eventually it happens for me, every 2 years. I am not built for this. I will look into hiring a lawyer.

Thank you so much. Appreciate you taking time to answer.

Be aware that immigrating to Canada may not be any easier. It's extremely competitive right now.

You can probably keep your US job (ex. in Detroit) while at the same time immigrating to Canada (ex. residence in Windsor). Many people commute from one country to another.

They lost their US job that is why they are looking to move to Canada.
