Guys - I have a question on Skill transferability - Education

I have CLB9 overall in IELTS (Speaking 7.5, writing 7, reading 9, listening 8.5) and have completed bachelors degree 3 years (10 + 2 + 3) Overall work experience is 10+ years

I'm only getting 25 points for education, 50 points for foreign work experience... I thought i should get 50 points for education, not 25....

Can someone explain why its 25 points only ? Am I missing something ?

I'm on 422 points currently, lost 5 points recently because of my bday ha ha ...

Yes, I have 4+ years of experience.

Then I understand that you would get 465 + score once you get a CLB 9!

There seems to be a lot of questions about IELTS so hope this link proves to be useful:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

Basically, if you want max points for language proficiency, you should score at least Reading 8.0, Writing 7.5, Listening 8.5 and Speaking 7.5
Add that to your educational accreditation of "2 or more post secondary" or better...and you get max points for those two factors.

Hi I might seem silly but how do I apply for PNP (as most of the people suggesting in forum to go for PNP) when all the provinces require job offer which I am unable to get as i live in another country and you cannot proceed unless you land a job offer. Clueless... am I missing something which I don't know about Provincial Nominee? Thanks in advance!

Not all provinces require a job offer - Ontario, Saskachewan, Prince Edward, New Brunswick, Manitoba to name a few. Check the Provincial Nomination Program forum to get the details.
Some are temporarily closed, while others are still open (for now)...so the age old advice still follows. If you can apply now, do it while the system is somewhat lenient...it won't get any easier for sure :)

Can anyone please clarify this. Here is the screen shot of my points in CRS tool. http$://prntscr.com/bjntp8 , Please remove $ in the link and load the page. I am not allowed to post links :(.

Under Skills Tranferability points it says
A) Official Language proficiency and education = 25
B) Canadian work experience and education = 50
Subtotal = 50

Am i supposed to get Subtotal '75' instead of '50'?

Thank you.

canadaee - do you have masters degree or bachelors ?
and how much was individual scores in IELTS ?

If you apply for PNP, is it necessary that you have to live in that province? What are the requirements relating to this? and how to apply for PNP where job is not a requirement?

^ it is not necessary but it is recommended. You have a moral obligation in that province who nominated you to live there and serve them back. But as a permanent resident of Canada, you are free to live wherever province you wish to live. When you become a citizen, it will be easier to move from place to place.

About the PNPs, you can check on SINP, OINP (will open November), PEI, NB, and NS for more information. These provinces don't need job offer for the nomination.

The score is correct as you only get a maximum of 50 points under Skills Transferability -> Education

Hi friends.. my CRS score is 456. m worried as the cut offs are very high since march april moroever very less ITAs..

what is the reason for low ITAs and high cutoff. will CRs scores abovre 450 have any chance for ITA this year ...

^ unfortunately, no one knows. they increase and decrease crs requirements for ITA without prior notice.
