Thanks for the response.

Yeah, I recreated my profile in mid December after seeing that notification. Still no luck!

Regarding my other query - "Also, I have taken out all my previous work experiences from my EE profile with the exception of those corresponding to NOC 1122 as I want to limit the documentation work if I get an invite. Is this a problem or is this fine/advisable?"

Any thoughts on that?

Thanks.

You might get your answer as per the below update on OINP Website:

November 24, 2015

Express Entry is an Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) application management system to manage permanent resident applications for skilled migration to Canada.

Ontario uses Express Entry (EE) to select potential nominees for permanent residence under two Ontario Express Entry Streams.

It has come to our attention that technical issues may have resulted in candidates not receiving Notification of Interest (NOI) though they believe they meet the criteria for Ontario’s Express Entry streams. If you believe you fall into this category and have not received an NOI within one month of submitting your EE profile, we encourage you to create a new profile in the EE system. If you create a new EE profile, you must delete your old profile.

If you have any questions about your EE profile please contact Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada.

You will have to provide your entire work history even if you are not claiming any points for it. So I do not think it will limit any documentation for you.
Also, I do not think this is the problem because of which you are not getting OINP invite. No one know whats the criteria for OINP invite apart from what they have mentioned (like score above 400, create profile after 01 June 2015 etc)

In order to receive PT for candidates above 400 CRS points, there is a revision of this date of EE profile creation as well. Instead of 1st June 2015, it is now revised to after 24th November 2015.

My CRS score is 407. My IELTS results bothered the heck out of me. I really needed the "CLB 9 or above on all four sections" but my calculations was the following: Writing: CLB level 10, Reading: CLB level 10, Speaking: CLB level 10, Listening: CLB level 7!!
Apparently I am a bad listener.

Hi Guys,

It looks like the settlement funds have changed on CIC website on 12th January 2016. Requesting new OINP applicants to refer to this new information when entering/showing proof of funds.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

PS: I have signed the application on 9th Jan 2016, couriered the application package on 11th Jan 2016 and application package was delivered on 13th Jan 2016. In settlement funds I have entered as CAD 14,853 but my account balance in savings is more than CAD 20,000 (2 family members including me). Hope this will not be a problem.

Regards,
Masood Ahmed

I totally understand your frustration. Retake IELTS again and you will hopefully succeed. I personally took it three times. Each time missing one skill by half a point!! Finally, I got the highest CLB level in all skills.
Perseverence is the key. ::)
All the best.

With the score of 407, which is above 400, you may still receive a PT notification of interest from Ontario within a week's time after you create your EE profile. This is only if you have created your EE profile after 24th Nov. 2015.

Same situation, but it's better to spend money on ielts than spending 75 k on oinp .......however crs requirement will reduce to 400 this year is the estimation.

75K ?? ...it is 1500CAD as far as i remember ...

And I really doubt it will be reduced to that score anytime soon or ever tbh ... 400 is a low score when it comes to what it represents in terms of requirements... given the statistics they released before and the trend in ITAs since then, I believe between 440 and 449, there are a 1000-2000 at each point alone...

Thanks for the response.

My work experience includes 4 NOC codes but I am only claiming points for the work-ex related to my latest NOC 1122 which is sufficient to give me my full CRS points. I believe I read somewhere on these forums that if you are not claiming points for some work experience, you can omit it. Is it not so?

Also, supposing I provide my full work experience details in my EE application, would they ask for the same comprehensive set of documents for all previous experiences falling under different NOCs as they would for the NOC for which I am claiming points?

This is important because I potentially will have to get these documents from 4 difference companies for which I am not even claiming any points for.

Can the senior hands here please clarify.

Thanks again.

Hey will the crs go down below 450

It will go below 450 when CIC finishes clearing the backlog. But this will take a while. Expect a sub 450 draw after March or so. Even if it falls below 450, it won't immediately fall sharply as there are a lot of applicants waiting between 440 and 450.

Lets hope for EE draw every week..

as it has happened for first two weeks..

and score cutoff will not drop way too lower than 420..

it will hover somewhere around 420-440 levels..

lets wait for annual EE report 2015.. it will give more clear picture of the situation

Senior members, Asivad Anac, rajkamalmohanram,

Can someone please advise. What's the best way forward for me?

Thanks for the help.

Hi sameer201,
I am not as much expert in this matters as other senior people on the fourm..
but I think, if you are mentioning any work experience in your profile.. then it should be supported with the work documents..

but again.. that is related to your primary NOC for which you are claiming points..
so it is better to omit other work experience, if you are not claiming points for it

senior member.. pls comment...
