That's slightly worrying as my work have no idea in leaving yet...

CIC calling ex-employers or current employer is definitely optional. As long as the officer is convinced about the legitimacy and completeness of your work experience inasmuch as it counts towards your program eligibility and CRS score calculation, there is no good reason they will make those calls.

Oh! My immediate supervisor at my current workplace (whose contact details I provided), is travelling. He will be in the U.S uptill the 29th of July. Shall I raise a CSE and provide his contact number for the U.S, in case they call him and can't reach! :s. They do have his e-mail id though.. I've heard nothing. No In Process in ECAS either. Waiting...

I'm quite anxious myself thinking 'oh what of its rejected'. I'm finally going to join my fiancé after 5 years of long distance as soon as this works out. I'm glad I got an ITA and the chance to be united sooner. If we were to get married and then I was to get the visa, it would have taken 2 more years in all! He's in Canada and just got his passport request under BC PNP after 11 months of wait. It's been a lo get long wait for me in all and even though I'm only just a few days behind you guys,I haven't heard a thing but I don't find it unusual. Hoping for positivity for all of us!

Someone else on that AOR thread commented that CIC runs batch jobs to update ECAS and MyCIC. Seems logical because all of us got that update simultaneously on the 19th AM EDT.

Here's hoping tomorrow heralds the beginning of the end to this miserable wait.

some update on my passport

anyone with VFS experience, Please kindly advise, when should i expect my passport to be ready for collection? If i decide to get down to VFS today (03/07/2015), would my passport be ready for pick up?

Following this thread. Here's My timeline:

April 17 - ITA
June 8 - docs submitted and AOR
June 11 - meds passed

ECAS status - app received

Hoping for updates this month.

Some members have reported that the dates on their ECAS status changed to more accurately reflect their application timelines. Mine still show the same dates as on the day I first got access to ECAS. The first date corresponds to when I created the EE profile and the 2nd date, which is exactly 3 weeks prior to my ITA date, probably corresponds to the time CIC accessed my profile while deciding on the ITA cutoff for that draw.

Anyone in this group noticed any changes in their ECAS dates? Or does it possibly apply only to Inland applicants for some weird reason?

No change in the dates for me, Asivad. Dates still reflect the profile creation ones, nothing specific to ITA.
