Why the long face? I'm sure it is yet another anomaly in the EE system where outlanders are treated differently from inland applicants. Just wanted to confirm that.

Very hopeful that the coming week will give all of us reasons to celebrate!

Some members have reported that the dates on their ECAS status changed to more accurately reflect their application timelines. Mine still show the same dates as on the day I first got access to ECAS. The first date corresponds to when I created the EE profile and the 2nd date, which is exactly 3 weeks prior to my ITA date, probably corresponds to the time CIC accessed my profile while deciding on the ITA cutoff for that draw.

Anyone in this group noticed any changes in their ECAS dates? Or does it possibly apply only to Inland applicants for some weird reason?

same for me too.. I think they must have rectified the anomaly for newer ee applicants.

My Ecas shows the same date for app received and processing started - May 16th, the day I submitted my PR application and received first AOR. No change since meds passed and Ecas status changed to app received on May 26th. I'm starting to get really anxious now. I just truly hope it's not rejected for some reason...

some update on my passport

Visa application, tracking ID No.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Shocked – Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office ACCRA , on 02/07/2015 to the Canada Visa Application Centre.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website


anyone with VFS experience, Please kindly advise, when should i expect my passport to be ready for collection? If i decide to get down to VFS today (03/07/2015), would my passport be ready for pick up?

Today I got this mail from VFS

Dear xxxxxxxx, Visa application, Tracking Id No. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx – Your processed passport has been despatched from the Canada Visa Office {Location}, on 06/07/2015 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.

I am bewildered as to why I would be getting two conflicting messages for same tracking ID.

Maybe I should have used DHL. I was expecting a passport ready for pick up mail today not the other way round.

June 5 - Background check - In Progress
June 22 - Additinal Document required - RPRF Request
June 23 - RPRF paid and uploaded in MyCIC
June 24 - Background Check - Not needed at this time
June 24 - PPR
June 24 - ECAS status changed to Decision Made
June 26 - Dropped mail for VO Change

Sigh!
What's with June 19 Ecas in process candidates?! Haven't seen a SINGLE case before with such a delay after 2nd In Process ECAS status for FSW outlanders. I'm getting nervous now!

I'm still not worried. Perturbed, yes. Frustrated, hell yeah! But not worried because all of us are in it together. Rejections are individual events, PPRs are mass mailers! ;D

Yes Asivad. Last week had Canada Day excuse. But even 4th July celebrations are over now!!
For God's sake, this week should be it!!

Ecas status - app received with 3 lines.
Hoping for update soon.
