Our Ecas just changed from In-Process to DM this morning. Last night, we received a notification from CIC that there is an update on our status but when we checked it last night, nothing had changed.

Question: do you know how does CIC send a PPR? Is it through our CIC account or to our email? Because we have an access to our CIC account but we also have a representative and we provided the lawyer's email address. Would his office receive the email then or we can also check it through our CIC account?

Passport Request for me too, on October 14th ! Yay !

However I am in France, not in Canada. I responded to the email asking what the procedure in this case is (as the email only indicates adresses for people living in Canada or US). However I believe I'm not the only immigrant abroad, how did you guys do ? Did they tell you to send passport copies and pictures at the local embassy, or Visa Supply Office, or elsewhere ?

Got PPR today. So it took 1.5 months in getting it from the time I submitted my application .

after DM, if it were a rejection, CIC would probably let us know as soon as possible?
Then, is it a good sign that CIC takes time to send us a letter with final decision?

In other words, if I have not heard from CIC for more than a 1 week after DM then it is more likely a positive decision = PPR?

Hopefully they have forwarded your application to Ottawa for visa issuance.
