I hope this is the right forum to ask.

1. I applied in mid August and just got an RPRF. Decision on my application has not been made as yet according to both CIC and ECAS. Is this normal?

2. What are the chances of being refused after RPRF?

Thanks!

send the one you used for Medicals, if that is expired then send both.

Thanks. I used new one for the medicals and its not expired but I did upload the expired one just for transparency when I submitted documents.

158 days since AOR. I feel you. I see that in the last couple of days CEC guys have been getting PPR except one fsw who was waiting on DM since July end. No idea when our ordeal will end. 2 weeks since DM.

Congrat to those who got PPR

I'm an outlander so I know that even if I get it today,,,its not the end of the road for me. Straight away - I've to submit an email for VO change and then wait again. Patience wasn't my biggest virtue years ago but now it is.

1. Yes that is normal.
2.as they say in this forum, why would cic request for rprf if theyre just going to refund it if you got rejected. So i say your almost there. Just be patient. Good luck!

hello

just sharing my timeline:

FSW, 481points
invite: march
submitted: May15
AOR May 16
Meds passed: around June 12
no changes until
ghost email: Oct2
ECAS: DM Oct Oct7 (could have missed it if earlier)
no changes to myCIC: in progress everything

I phoned immigration yesterday asking about DM what it means, they said if there is no PPR or info on decision, the decision has NOT been made. I asked why the ECAS status has changed then, got answer there's a 'glitch' in the system. I see people are getting different responses depending on whom they get on the phone.

good luck

Agents are wrong or they don't have enough information to explain to applicant that's why they says that. I am telling from my experience, after my status changed DM I called several time they advised me that DM doesn't mean it's completed, your file is in process. But yesterday I received GCMS note it said Sep 10th my file completed and approved. Same day my ECAS changed in to DM. Therefore I believe DM made means while application is complete either approved or not approved.

the answer really depends on the person you're dealing with over the phone, they told my consultant that DM is actually decision made, not that your file is still under review. if you call tomorrow, another agent may tell you something else.

I agree with Katja. Call centre agents seem to know nothing. I was told it could mean a lot of things. Hoping a batch of ppr comes out tonight

tried to call now and the message is 'we are experiencing high call volume and are unable to transfer you to an agent' ;-)

Try after a while you might will get someone, however I wont believe agent, they not sure what to say, since they don't have much information to give.
