Any news here?

I called CIC on Friday again and the agent told me my application had received a "favourable decision" but they were not ready yet to issue my PPR, so she said I have to wait but it shouldn't take long.

Anyone got any new message/status update?

I think I am in the same situation as you. My offer letter also doesn't say permanent, It just says full time 40 hours per week and their is no end date on the offer letter which indirectly means it is permanent but I guess VO might not consider that

Can you please tell what NOC was your LMIA under?

Just got off the phone with a CIC agent. They said the application shows as "Approved" in the system. When I told her its been over a month now since the decision made status, and could it be a system glitch because the application is really NOT in process to require more processing time, after all its only a matter of generating a PPR letter, for which she said as long as its within processing time they are not bound to send this letter immediately. Weird logic.

When I asked her if she can at least send me the AOR letter (second AOR) so that I can go ahead and apply for BOWP, she said she will arrange to send it via email. (Not sure why a different CIC agent I spoke 10 days ago couldn't do that for me.) As one last shot, I asked just as she arranges to send the second AOR letter, can she also "mark or promote" somewhere in the PR application to "remind" the VO to send me the approval letter, for which she said nope... because its still within the processing time, she will not do that :( Anyways I'm a little bit relieved when she said its "approved" :)

I'll update when I receive this second AOR.

You got a really nice agent on the phone eh!
Congratulations on the approved application :D

One of the most frustrating things is the wildly different advice and levels of assistance from the call centre.
