Hi Hamed,hsrad said:Hi Guys,
Does any one have the same timeline and status like below? Is it normal? My visa office is London and my current eCAS Status is "IN PROCESS" as of late March 2011
- We received your application for permanent residence on October 21, 2009.
- We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 22, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
- Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review. (This was in March 2010, and within the 120 days limit)
- We transferred your application to the London England office on December 30, 2009. The London England office may contact you.
- In Late March 2011, my eCAS status changed to "IN PROCESS" but nothing new was added to detailed history
- I have NOT received any 2nd AOR's or any communication for that matter from London Visa Office
- I have NOT received medical request forms
Thanks
Hamed

To be on the safe side you may consider this option.
Also you can take opinion from seniors on the forum like captain Qorax, Biju
And you can look at this link also;

If the Canadian visa Expires before landing then all the applicants will have to go through the process again...the best way to do is to contact the CIC or VO processing your papers to ask for intructions should you be expecting a baby. If your wife is pregnant and the visas are already issued...in my opinion, assuming the pregnancy si less than 7 months by the time of your travel to canada, i think she can land in Canada and give birth in canada as well...just go ask the VO to be sure on this and present your case clearly.Siawo said:Hi,
A question from a friend:
I have read somewhere (can'r remember where) that when the Canadian immigration visa expires (before landing) and there is new addition in the family, the application for immigration needs to be made again for everyone, following the new rules in place at the time.
Can anyone confirm this?

"In Process" = B/ground checks r "On" [Going On... not completed, or about to start]Nadeem_jee said:Dear Qorex,
I got my e-status change to In Process in June. When status change to In Process means ur Background checked already and Ur Medical is about to come?? If so how long it takes for Medical Request....Other meaning of in process is that your file in on the table now for consideration and ready for back ground check?? Which one is right.. though it already get almost a year to become IN Process after getting my 2nd AOR....
Waiting for ur valueable reply!!!!!!!
Regards
