As regards the police report i hear that the ones issued in Dubai are valid for only 3 months .in that case shall i send my police report now along with the form or wait for the VO to ask me for the same so that i dont have to get it re-issued as I m sure the process will take more than 3 months.
Also any idea how much time it would take to get such a report in India (assumming that in Dubai it would take around a week)
thanks

thanks arjignesh. how much time does the visa office give to submit PCC.arjignesh said:
Hi Ayazf,
It is not mandatory to send PCC with initial application as I have done. You can submit it later when Visa office ask it for you. Though if you submit right now later VO may not ask for updated PCC.
If you want PCC from India you just have to contact Indian Passport service that is BLS India in Bur dubai near Khaleej Centre..they are very fast. They will give you in maximum five days if your visa is from Dubai.

I have received my canadian immigrant visa last week and I'm planning to land there for a month in October.
Just an advice from people who have already landed and living there; we are two families travelling together (5 adults and 3 kids) and have plans to rent a 2 bedroom furnished apartment/condo/house for a month. My question is which area should we opt to live in and how much will it cost? Can anyone help to rent the same for us?
Any other suggestion for accomodation other than renting apartment/condo/house are welcome!
Thanx for all your support through out the process.
