hi all
i need yr precious suggestion regarding i query.i want to buy some gold coins as an investment so can i show gold coins certificate to cic as proof of funds in future??as i already sent my application under noc3131.on 1st august2011.please guide me wether its a wise decision to be taken or not???

Dear Qorex,

I got my e-status change to In Process in June. When status change to In Process means ur Background checked already and Ur Medical is about to come?? If so how long it takes for Medical Request....Other meaning of in process is that your file in on the table now for consideration and ready for back ground check?? Which one is right.. though it already get almost a year to become IN Process after getting my 2nd AOR....

I am a little confused here... I got my 2nd AOR in Mar and when I saw my e-cas status and it was "IN PROCESS" and in details, it was showing documents recvd by VO and it's pending review.

You mentioned that your status changed to in-process after a year, when you recvd your 2nd AOR. What was your status before?

As my status shows IN_PROCESS, should i also assume that my b/g checks are in process????

Please demystify this for me.

My e-status was Received by visa office!!!!!!!!!!!! before it turns to IN PROCESS.... when i click the icon of in process the inner details are same as before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. so i was just wondering that what exactly it means!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........!! Like rather the ackground check is complete or yet to start once it in process.. Qorex told me that your back ground check get started!!!!!!!!

Qorax is correct, once your status is In-process regardless of whtever details are noted, it means that the VO has just started working on your papers, doing some background checks. the next step is that they will ask for your medicals, should they find your records are in order and there are no loop holes.

Regarding translation of documents

I have got the same done by an individual who has submitted an affidavit that he is not related to me
also does the translation need to be attested by notary (because it is not the copy of the original but only a translation)

U need to have got 'legal translation' done. They sign, date & stamp it. And that's acceptable.

Normally any Fixed deposit certificates , notional bond certif. and Mashreq millionaire certifi are taken as POF. if the gold purchase is like a deposit certif/ gold bond . thn we can use for POF. but this is a new try

I am very new in this site. I need some suggestion to send my Quebec application-selection-certificate. I have contacted with one agency in dubai who are asking 2500 $ for the processing only. Now i decide to apply myself. I already fill-up the Quebec application-selection-certificate form, PR form (IMM0008) and some other forms stated as Hong Kong quebec office. I will send my application end of this month to Hong Kong.

Now I am collecting my documents (Experience certificates). I have IELTS band 6.5 (S-7, L-6, W-6.5, R-5.5) but no french certificate. I am very poor in French.
I am single 26 years B.Sc Civil Engineer have 4 years experience in Dubai. I have following query

1) If there is any mistake in application will they cancel my application?
2) I don't know how much point I have either i will be qualify or not
3) How can I pay the fee for application?
4) Is it necessary to attend French exam? or only practicing?

If anyone can help I will be grateful to you.
