Was it necessary to have at least 1 year of Canadian experience to be included in this draw? My points usually come up to 412 excluding the 1 year experience.
If you’re invited under CEC, the minimum entry criteria (MEC) / eligibility requirement is 1 year Canadian work experience AND a valid language exam (based on NOC). You have to meet that at all times. If you remove your Canadian work experience, and submitted your app, it will be refused as you no longer meet the MEC.

Urgent Question: I have an IELTS score of 5.5 in writing (All other modules are 6 and above). I received an ITA under CEC. I remember the language criterion was IELTS 6 minimum in all modules. Should I go and submit my documents or reappear in IELTS? am confused and want to confirm. Any suggestions or advise is highly appreciated. Many thanks

The IELTS test result will be evaluated under the CLB levels. However, it depends on the job that you are doing. NOC 0, and A are different than NOC-B. As for NOC-B you can score 5 in Listening, 4 in Reading, 5 in Writing, and 5 in Speaking and your CLB 2ill be equivalent to CLB level 5. And that will be enough to get ITA. CHECK BELOW:

Yes, You must have at least 1 year Canadian experience. This is the minimum eligibility for CEC not just for CRS point.

You should be good with your score. Please go ahead and submit your documents.

For NOC code 'B' under CEC, the minimum requirement is CLB 5 in all the language abilities. So the equivalent of CLB 5 when compared with IELTS comes to :-

Reading 4
Writing 5
Listening 5
Speaking 5

You'll need to wait until you have a full year of work experience in Canada.

so As i can understand not all the slected persons in the last draw will get their PR,only thos with the 1 year experience will get it

Only those with at least 1 year of work experience in Canada were selected in the draw.

Just to add, if you have at least one year of skilled and continuous work experience from outside of Canada, then you can set up your Express Entry profile now as a FSW applicant. You won't qualify for the CEC draw until you have a year of work experience in Canada.

so can you explain to me if the person with the 75 score will get his PR or not ?

Only if they have at least one year of full time work experience in Canada and also meet the other basic requirements of the program. Again, this was a CEC draw. CEC draws are only for people with at least one year of full time work experience in Canada in a NOC A, B or 0 role.

I did for my case choose, not accompanying and The reason is (He is born in Canada, he is Canadian Citizen).

Hello,
