Then just wait till you get the passport. The process for passport is less than 2 weeks.
Tricky situation. IRCC will asks for activities in the past 10 years, so even if you didn’t claim points for his work, you have to declare it in the personal history.
I’ve not experienced this first hand, but you mentioned it’s a contract job, so it has an end date? Maybe add an LOE stating that the work is only for xx # of months or years, and that your family will still be staying in a province outside of Quebec, that you’re not moving etc, in order to convince the officer reviewing your file that you intend to live outside of Quebec. Or take it a step higher and provide an sworn affidavit.

Job contract should be fine. Not sure what do you mean by “letter from the company”?
Maybe a letter concerning the contract. If the contract letter will do then I have no problem with that.

I don’t think there is any option of “accepting invitation”, right ? Either you decline or start submitting documentsI was able to login today at 9 and accepted the invitation. Will start documentation soon.
