Kindly, can anybody advise what to include in the LOE letter?
Also, I did a distance learning program in the UK, which did not require me to reside physically in the country. Now as part of this application, am being requested to submit a police clearance report. Kindly advise.
Hi, thanks for sharing this, it is an eye opener. Me too, one of my credentials is from a UK University but through a collaboration between the learning institution in my home country and the UK University. I even got an ECA. I have a BCPNP paper based application in process and maybe IRCC might also ask me for a police certificate for the UK.
1. You could request the learning institution to write an official letter confirming that the program you studied was offered via distance learning.
2. If you had a passport at the time you were doing this distance learning, then attach copies of the Biometrics page and all the passport pages which will show proof that you did not travel during that period and explain that this was a distance learning program.
3. If 1 and 2 are not viable, then in your LOE, give a simple explanation stating that this was a distance learning program. I am sure IRCC has come across several students who completed an international study program through distance learning OR if the Immigration Department in your home country are co-operative, maybe they can give you some document proving you did not travel
