Whatever it is, Whosoever governs. They know they are in demand ! They always know Express Entry will always be full of applicants and they do not bother who stays and who not. They will do what they want. It becomes our responsibility to always stay at par in EE. This is Monopolistic approach.

I always said the system is not fair because in a fair system, once the crs score drop they cannot rise. the bottom always remains there or else they are contradicting their own point based system. Once an applicant with 450 is given PR all above 450 must be given. The whole system is manipulated to their choice and cannot be trusted. IF this continues we might see a draw with crs score 1140 and even with province nomination we will be still there waiting !
One cannot prepare and improve his/her score because there is no guarantee of ITA even by increasing scores. This is more like a Casino than a system, wait for the numbers game !

Try your Luck

note: Casino is far better because you at least know the result you have won or lost within minutes ! ;D
Let me explain something to you. Canada never said that they need us. As an Inland candidate, we all need a good reason (study or job) to stay here. Getting a job is very difficult, when you don’t have PR or Open work permit. So, every single day we are fighting for our survival. On the other hand Outland candidates are doing a secure job with no tension to be deported. I don’t want to hurt anyone but reality is nothing to do, unless they give it to us. It’s their country, and they know what they need what not!!

The latest draw was again 482 points. It has been liked that for the last 4-5 draws.

We all have no hope without OINP.

I inquired yesterday about my nomination status (got my AOR on April 8th). Today I received a rather automated reply stating that my application was on the second stage of the process and pending review. They also thanked me for my patience.

Good thing I see here is that at least I know I haven't been kicked out of the queue. Just have to keep sitting tight.

They are just like a money making organization. An organization who's words can hardly be trusted ....

1. Though they haven't consumed quota for 2015, but still mentioned the Quota was fulfilled.
2. If the quota was fulfilled then why did the send PT notification on December, 2015?
3. They know very much that long waiting actually kick out many applicants as they may go below 400 points due to age, loosing language score validity. Re-exam does not guarantee the applicants will score the same or higher.
4. They know Long waiting also kicks out many applicants due expiry of legal status in Canada for inland candidates. Its really tough to maintain the status for longer time on many aspects.
5. They know due to frustration many applicants will choose to apply different country and OINP will not return the fees.
6. They know once the EE profile expires, linking the nomination with new profile will create some chaos. Few applicants will suffer and will not get nominations due to error or mistake in linking

Very true...I can read between those hidden lines too...sometimes we feel we are wasting precious years of our young life ..because even after waiting its not guaranteed of positive results. The previous system at least guaranteed it sooner or later.

I can understand this and we all wish Inland applicants must be given priority. Not only that I even feel why the hell Inland people have to undergo an Express Entry system? They can directly given them PR ( like H1 which later converts in PR) with certain experience and few other norms. Giving them few extra points also do not work inn front of PNP giving 600 points ( except that they have more choice of PNP)

@Jondam, Congrats!

Looks like OINP Started moving December applications to Second Stage.
Receiving AOR means application is moved to Second stage. Confirmation of a booked ticket does not mean the Journey has begun. It does not mean they have started processing applications in second stage. This stereo type replies cannot make us happy now. When they have said they will inform us for assessment phase and final stage they must inform. We want to see action, enough of words !!

While I agree that Inland applicants should be given priority, the US H1 visa doesn't convert to a PR visa automatically. They too have a process - EB2/EB3 are the common categories through which skilled workers apply for PR. When it comes to the waiting period, you cannot even compare Canada's waiting period with the waiting period you have to go through in the US. Let me explain.

US has a country based quota for getting PR. An average Indian with a Bachelor's/Master's degree has to wait around 12 years after lodging the PR application (EB3/EB2 category). Can these wait times be compared - 12 years for US PR processing and 6 months to one year for Canada PR? No, I don't think so.

The applicants can remain and work in the US until a decision is made on their PR application (similar to Canada - applicants are allowed to extend their WP (via BOWP) and remain in Canada if they have submitted a PR application and their completeness check (R10) is done).

Here is the link to the visa bulletin for July 2016 - https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/law-and-policy/bulletin/2016/visa-bulletin-for-july-2016.html

good at least they send receipt on time. But that should not make us so happy now until they keep their words of informing us when the application moves to Assessment phase.
