December Application OINP

Have patience guys. Once you have sent the new DD, your old DD would be returned to you sooner or later. OINP is a part of Ontario government , they will not loose our bank drafts that easily.

It's better to try mailing or calling OINP, before opting for Lost DD cancellation procedure

Despite anger against fumble-ness of OINP work methodology, most people would still be grateful once they receive the nomination so that's inculcating humbleness in us ;D

But they do not consider us as humans. because they say they have lot of inventory, so our applications are inventory for them and we are buffer stock.
Only after we become human they will give nominations, thats why it is named Human Priority Stream....no other stream is named like Human french speaking or Human International student or Human Phd graduate stream...lol

IF you don't have old DD, it is considered as lost DD and it involves communicating with Canada bank and after confirmation from them that the DD is not en cashed, they will release your payment. This process may be different for diff banks. It is better to wait for the old DD and the repayments becomes easy.

Yes it is considered lost and if not encashed puts a stop payment on it. The OP was mentioning that it takes a month and so I gave the OP the process I followed at ICICI. It was done within a week. I got my DD after more than 3 weeks by post.

Some banks wait for 3 to 6 months after confirmation from CANADA BANK to release your payments. ( mostly Indian banks like BOB and Central bank) The reason is anyone can open an account in that name and deposit and so they have to wait for certain period. But i know there will be no one with an Indian bank DD. so you are right.

What's going on is that the draws are being managed as CIC and the Canadian government want them to be managed.

"People" have no idea what they are talking about and are just guessing about future draws.

May be be are un-necessarily blaming OINP, may be the real show is being run by Canadian Government. They might have realized the slowness in economy (or job market or whatever) and may have instructed IRCC & PNPs to go slow.

However, when you think about it (I thought about this after writing that post) , other provinces have been nominating applicants - could it be that IRCC has iron clutches on OINP alone? Nah! I don't think so. Though I do not dismiss the possibility, I certainly think it is kind of weird to assume that IRCC might restrict one province and let all other provinces issue nomination.

yes, I've also posted it many times in this thread.
it's always the decision from the top i.e CIC.
if it were not, then we would just not see the OINP numbers.
every province is kinda giving lesser nominations and hence the overall ita numbers being less

Whatever it is, Whosoever governs. They know they are in demand ! They always know Express Entry will always be full of applicants and they do not bother who stays and who not. They will do what they want. It becomes our responsibility to always stay at par in EE. This is Monopolistic approach.

I always said the system is not fair because in a fair system, once the crs score drop they cannot rise. the bottom always remains there or else they are contradicting their own point based system. Once an applicant with 450 is given PR all above 450 must be given. The whole system is manipulated to their choice and cannot be trusted. IF this continues we might see a draw with crs score 1140 and even with province nomination we will be still there waiting !
One cannot prepare and improve his/her score because there is no guarantee of ITA even by increasing scores. This is more like a Casino than a system, wait for the numbers game !
