@MDM23: I have some file numbers that are a mix of both CEC and FSW.

AOR Date File number (last four digits)

April 11 13XX
June 10 242X
June 13 246X
June 14 254X
June 16 26XX
June 20 270X

This information is from applicants and thanks to them.

In master's Jan branch @prashantduggal asked for our timeline.
App received: Jan 8
AOR received: May 12
File#: NMAS-16018XX
N(omination)MAS(ter)
WP is not expiring yet. Master Dec and Jan applicants were receiving AORs VERY slowly during March-May.

So if your theory is correct, I believe file# are shared among all streams.

From the above, it appears that the file numbering is continuous for all the streams. If this is the case, and they have about 5500 nominations to hand out, then the scaremongering regarding the exhaustion of OINP's 2016 quota is absolutely baseless. Presently, there is no report of anyone with a file number of...160-5XXX.

Those who are helping us analyze OINP's file numbering pattern might find the above interesting.

I think we're reading too much into it, kind of obsession, relax, AOR is an AOR, it doesn't matter to try to extrapolate how they do their job nor it does help us in any way

The file number prefixes for different streams are different so 1605500 is unlikely. You must check the prefixes (XHSW/XFSW/XHEC/XFEC) and the like!

Hi Raj, no one on this forum can definitively say what OINP's file numbering pattern is, except he/she works there. My point is, the best we can do is to speculate, encourage one another and ensure that we all end our pontifications with copious doses of probability, like you've just done.

Initials of an officer, I guess. Check below link for the list of officers.

The file numbering scheme is continuous among all streams. I said the same thing yesterday but some seniors did not agree.
OINP has so for issued about 2800 AOR against quota of nominations for 2016.The applications of Jan to March period are pending for AOR .These may be around 3000.

My Application Submission date was 30th dec 2015. I got AOR on 24 th june 2016. and they have asked for New DD. I reside in India, Is it okay if My brother can submit DD from his bank bank in Canada? Will OINP accept it?
