December 2022 - Citizenship Applicants

I submitted webform on last Wednesday and my tracker got updated on last Friday. I did not get any response for the Web form yet. But similar thing happened for my wife, though. Her application was stuck in BG completed for like nine months and after submitting a web form, she got the test invite. Again, these things could be purely coincidental and IRCC normally handles files on case-by-case basis so we might not compare the journey of one's process with other. But, so far at least thrice we saw some updates after submitting the Web Form. Twice for my wife and once for myself.

What did you write I your Web form? Also which office is processing your application

I had called ircc customer care and got the response that my file is in its last stage (LPP seems completed from long back, and never reflected in my citizenship tracker account). The agent told me that the file is for final review by the officer and he’s not sure when can the final update arrive to me, it may be tomorrow or any time soon. But, I feel bad that they don’t update the tracker properly to know where the file is or if they need more information. As it’s already 3 months past my citizenship test, I was curious why LPP is not updated yet. Hopeful for my oath ceremony arriving soon. Good luck to all who are traveling in the same boat.

Can you suggest the number you called and the prompts that you went through? Everytime I have called, I end up getting the message that they are too busy and will not be able to take the call.

Does the application timeline gets affected if I have appeared for a test outside Canada?

Test completed:-28th March 2023.
Tracker Updated:-4th April 2023 for test completed.

FYI
The office is Scarborough.

I need advice. My File is stuck at LPP and I have to go to India in November.
I am exploring all options at this point. I want to book my ticket as you know air tickets are expensive. If I book a ticket now using my Indian Passport
and if I get my Citizenship approved by then I have to change the ticket accordingly. Will it cause any problems? I am very confused at this time.

May be you can Call Air Canada or any airline to confirm the same.

Have you tried booking the ticket? You don't need passport number to book tickets. Air canada needs only basic info - name, dob, etc - these should match with passport which would not change with your citizenship

Hi,
Has anyone faced an issue with receiving the verification code when linking the application to a tracker account? When I enter my UCI and Application number, it says that a verification code has been sent to my email, but I never receive one. And without that I cannot link my application to the tracker account.
Received my AOR on the 17th of Jan.
