MP can only call in to IRCC and find out the status of your application on your behalf. If the application is within processing timeline, there isn’t much you can do. I didn’t mention this in my earlier message but the GCMS notes do show whether your fingerprints were received.

Can you suggest the number you called and the prompts that you went through? Everytime I have called, I end up getting the message that they are too busy and will not be able to take the call.

What number do you call for IRCC? I have called 1-888-242-2100 a few times and going through the prompts, I always end up being told by IVR that they are too busy to transfer my call to a live agent. Is there a prompts pattern to get to a live agent?

Yes, I was and that's why I reached out to RCMP to confirm the status.

Took the test on 11th April, marked complete on 17th April. Still waiting for background check to be completed. As someone suggested, I have today emailed RCMP with my fingerprint DCN info in the hopes that it moves things along.

What details do you provide to RCMP when you email them? In a similar boat as @Xxsaraxx where my test invite came through without Background being completed. Now the test is marked complete but Background is still in progress. Wifey on the other hand had her background and test marked complete.

Looks like IRCC is already back up and running again! Wifey's tracker was updated today with the citizenship test completed. She took the test on April 10th but had to resubmit her ID since it was blurry when captured during the test.
