You're very lucky! Hopefully a speedy process for each and everyone of us.

Tried checking the first Dec.2014 outland spreadsheet and looks like alot is missing from it now.

No secret ingredient my friend, just alot of prayer and a lot of stress hoping it comes together quickly and making sure when I put the application together everything was as upto date and a thorough as possible.

My wife called CIC on Friday to get an update on our file and agent told us our case was almost finished. Then Saturday morning ECAS showed decision made.
They also pretty much confirmed on the phone that straight forward applications are being kept in Canada, the extremely easy ones stay in Mississauga, ones that need a little more attention go to Ottawa and then ones that need more attention than that go to the original VO office of the applicants country (eg London)

AndyB are you living in Canada currently?

Many many congrats to you!!! :) :) this gives so many of us hope for quick processing!
Just a question though:
Was your application outland? Are you a citizen? Where's your wife from?
I know it doesn't matter, but just curious! Just wondering what are the chances of my app. Stayong in mississauga...

Thanks, my application was an outland application through the London office, I'm a British citizen and my wife is a canadian citizen.

Thanks RYIT, anxious wait for a few weeks until we get the letter. I will be sure to update you once it is received!

Good luck to everyone!

BritishBob let us know when you get yours, I'm hoping our COPR letters to arrive this coming week. The call Center agent said it could be a few weeks, but possibly within 10 days.

My guess is that plays a large part in why your application stayed in Canada.

We are living in the UK, I am sponsoring my partner so it makes sense the VO is where the principal applicant is living - just in case an interview is required. When I first immigrated to Canada in 1997, the application went through the Lisbon office because the waiting times were 18 months for the London office and Lisbon was less than a year. I was called for interview (they didn't understand my job title!) so had to travel to Lisbon for it.

I'd guess if you're already in Canada it wouldn't make sense for your VO to be London - unless there's anyone else on here who is in Canada and has his/her VO as his/her home country?

You are 100%, it was fine this morning when I looked at it and now there are several people missing from the spreadsheet and it is all one colour.

This is a little rant on my part but I REALLY wish people who didn't know how to update or view the spreadsheet without making a hotmess of it would leave it alone and ask other people to get/update the information they need from it!!!!

Rant over...

I have fixed the spreadsheet AGAIN.

I please ask (on behalf of the entire group I am sure) that if you are not confident on being able to view/update the spreadsheet without altering information that is not yours please do not attempt it. Please ask someone else and I am sure they would be glad to do it for you.

Thank you
