Received my AOR today finally. So how long it will take it to move it to Sponsorship Approval

Hey I have AOR but I didn't update it on the spreadsheet if someone could kindly do that I don't want to mess it up for any reason

THANK YOU LORD! i have just received my SA today and it will be forwarded to manila. weeeeew :D
Hope everyone else is going great :D

Guys after you receive your SA - search your Visa Office city in the forum search and follow that thread. The december thread is not useful for you after the SA.

I think it is pretty useful still, to see how everyone is going along :D
But, I will take that suggestion as well.
Thanks!

I disagree, from the UK spread sheet there is a pattern of the PA being located in Canada apart from a few lucky ones like yourself. Obviously without knowing everyone's individual situation we will not know for sure. To be honest I thought my application was straight forward and it went to London. (May have had to do with myself (the sponsor) living in the UK??? maybe?) Obv everyone thinks their application is straight forward but you know what I mean. Without digging deeper into everyone's situation and making other columns on a spread sheet we cannot say for sure why certain apps are staying in Canada.

I wonder if any of the seniors on the board that update the spreadsheets have noticed of recognised a pattern? I wonder if it will help anyone if we can add 2 more columns to the spreadsheets, one for the Sponsors Location and another for the Principle Applicants location.
would this help work out what the pattern?
I think it was AndrewBrit that said apart from getting some info on everyone's personal situation (location, years of marriage / common-law, etc) it would be tough to work it out.

personally, i think it's a lost cause to try to "figure out" why CIC does anything. there really is no figuring out cic. it really can be as simple as every x application goes in the mississauga pile, and all the others go to the designated visa office.

It looks, at least from the December spreadsheet, that the AOR is almost all done, but SA, not so much.. The SA part looks a bit lagged behind (and maybe it will all happen at once - like the way AOR has happened, I hope!)

As we may not find any consistent patterns, since it is easy to add more columns and fill them out, I am all for it, in case we could find some patterns.

Hello all! I've been told my SA was approved but waiting for a letter from CIC or my lawyer to confirm this. Not sure how prompt ECAS is in updating our files?

*edit* Just got the email from my lawyer! Sa has been approved March 07 and application has been sent to Mexico..lol made it thru another hoop of the CIC

Hi Guys,
I'm beginning to get concerned. It's been 97 days and people are receiving SA all over the place, we haven't even received initial contact (our was received Dec 2nd)

Is it time for me to call them and ask what is up? I know they have my file in their system because of some other inquiries, but we haven't received a letter or email or anything from them and I'm starting to get concerned, plenty of people have been getting information 75 days after receipt.

I'd appreciate any advice about this!
