I just received Decision Made this morning. A nice way to wake up to see the file has been completed. Just waiting on my COPR letter now.
Spreadsheet updated.

WOW WOW WOW!!! :o :o :o Isn't this like the fastest processing time in history of CIC??? It's only been 3 months since CIC received your application and you already received the Decison Made?? CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

What's your secret ingredient??

Hello everyone, I'm a January aplicant but I was wondering if maybe you could answer my question cause you guys already went thru additional documents request already, I realized that I've sent outdated imm008 form. Whoever had to resubmit this form - how did you do that - electronic copy or paper copy in the mail? Did your sponsored spouse had to sign it and send to Canada? Thanks a lot for uour help!!! And congrats on all SA!!!! We are January 5th, so hoping for a quick process :)

No secret ingredient my friend, just alot of prayer and a lot of stress hoping it comes together quickly and making sure when I put the application together everything was as upto date and a thorough as possible.

My wife called CIC on Friday to get an update on our file and agent told us our case was almost finished. Then Saturday morning ECAS showed decision made.
They also pretty much confirmed on the phone that straight forward applications are being kept in Canada, the extremely easy ones stay in Mississauga, ones that need a little more attention go to Ottawa and then ones that need more attention than that go to the original VO office of the applicants country (eg London)

So if the application is kept in Mississauga or is send to Ottawa, means a fastest process?

Looking at the spreadsheet and in my case yes.
If you look at the different spreadsheets set up for tracking the quickest Stage 2 VO is Mississauga, then Ottawa so if you get either of these instead of the original outland office you will have a quicker processing time.

Saradan the next step is your file will get transferred to Beirut. You will then wait for AOR2, they may possibly ask for additional documents (hopefully not), then request your passport and then issue visa!

The current processing time for Beirut is 18 months....

Thanks for the reply! Time to be as patient as possible now!

Many many congrats to you!!! :) :) this gives so many of us hope for quick processing!
Just a question though:
Was your application outland? Are you a citizen? Where's your wife from?
I know it doesn't matter, but just curious! Just wondering what are the chances of my app. Stayong in mississauga...

CONGRATS BRITISH BOB & andyb!!

I see by the spreadsheet that you two already have a decision made on your file!!

Please let us know what your letter says when you receive. It would be amazing if it was a passport request already!

It looks like it is definitely a good thing for applications to be kept in Mississauga!

Thanks RYIT, anxious wait for a few weeks until we get the letter. I will be sure to update you once it is received!

Good luck to everyone!

i think your right Andyb , coz im expecting mine to be sent to the Philippines but it stays in Ottawa, im happy faster processing and my SA comes in only 3 days after AOR

Did you request Manila as your visa office in your application? Or Ottawa?
