Mine application was received on Dec 2nd by CIC. Still waiting for AOR.
Many after Dec 2nd have recieved but dont know why I haven't received.

Hey All,
I have a question that maybe you can answer, the principal applicant for our sponsorship visa is living in the UK, but is from a non-visa exempt country (South Africa). I understand that in this situation, the PA may request that the application be processed in either his country of birth or the country in which he currently resides.

Since the London office is having certain UK resident applications processed in Ottawa or Mississauga, do you think we can request that we are processed in Canada rather than London or Pretoria?

This is AOR (acknowledgement of receipt). You should receive sponsor approval (SA) within 2 weeks. 2 weeks is based on the trend I have noticed on the forum recently.

That depends on which visa office gets the application and the applicant. For example any divorces, criminal convictions, lots of traveling, making sure no police clearances are needed etc.
