How do you get your UCI number? Did you call to CIC?

Yes, I called them and was on the line for about 20 min (I used Skype) . A nice lady was on the other end of the line and she asked me questions about my last name , date of birth..etc just to check I am the main applicant. She told me my current status and offered me the UCI #.

Congratulations. It means more then just charging!
It means that your CC is charged or if it was DD it has been encashed, and your application has passed positive eligibility review and soon PER will hit your inbox.

No way!!! that is more that I can handle. Dont say it , are you sure!!! Wow Wow. I can believe it. I thought it was only the charging part. So I passed the PER . somebody wake me up , pinch me , pour some water , my heart is to weak to handle this, WOOOOOOOW You made my day.

I am kinda skeptic about the story someone calling CIC and the agent saying that NOC 1123 is already capped. I just called CIC last week and they told me they don't have information about the cap status of the NOCs. it simply means that they are not authorize to disclose this information.

i don't think its due to CAP, if CIC charged ITSNS's application and then got rejected, that means there is something wrong with the application, if cap was filled then as per my knowledge they will not charge cc and return the application unopened.

2172 Applicants - Anyone 11 to 16 dec 2014, got any news/update with call to CIC. Either capped or temporarily not charging.
Because in previous post a member of 15 dec application informed that he got info after call that his information sent back by cic due to incomplete documents. This is only little hope of not capping. Thanks 2172 brothers

That was me who reported earlier for File being return... But in call 2 and call 3 with CIC.. they told they donot have status of my application.. it might not be opened as of now.. need to wait for months time... So.. not sure abt the CAP..

A friend with NOC 1114 received 17th December just informed me that her DD has been encashed.

That was me who reported earlier for File being return... But in call 2 and call 3 with CIC.. they told they donot have status of my application.. it might not be opened as of now.. need to wait for months time... So.. not sure abt the CAP..

Anyways very much un-expected if it should be cap..

BhanuGhai - I believe dec 15 applications would have been definitely opened and completeness checked would have been completed as CIC has confirmed my application has been opened and they had read my email address from their system...But the question is that is it capped or not ??? that is the info we don't have...
