Hello everyone who got passports back recently,

How many days it took for you to receive your stamped passports?
We have sent our passports on Nov 27th and it got delivered to them on 29th. My tracker is not activated yet.
When do you think I can expect it to be back?

Thanks in advance,
Saranya.

Hi All,

I am new to this forum. But I am following the posts for a long time.

Even I applied last Dec 2012.

This is my situation.

I am pregnant and unable to travel to Canada. So i asked OTT-Pilot team if I can add my new born baby once it is born and then travel to Canada.

They replied saying yes and asked to submit 3 documents after the arrival of my baby.

Now I got a mail from CIC ottawa mentioning "Ready for visa letter" . In that mail they have asked me the same questions on change in address, change in family composition. I replied to them saying that I received a mail on change in family composition to include my new born.

The issue is "Can I send the passports to them for visa stamping?" or Should I wait for my baby to be born and then send the documents altogether?

If I send the passports to them now, and get visa stamped, Can I send the requested docs for my new born once it is born, will they have my case open till that time.

I need some advise from people who had underwent such situation. It will be really helpful for me. Thanks a lot in advance.

You cannot get your visa now if you want to add your to be born baby to the application.

Reply to the ready for visa email and tell them again about the situation. They'll put your application on hold until child birth .

Thank you eds1275.

I already replied to that Ready for Visa Letter mail and told them the situation.

But I did not receive any response to that mail yet. So I am worried.

You'll get it soon. Did you include all the information as identified in the automated response ? I.e client id, name, birth date, file number etc.

They won't respond unless you provide all the info.

I was thinking of another option, which I guess is not possible in your case - get visa and fly immediately. Your baby will be born In Canada :) .

Yes I did send all information.

No I cant fly as I have so many constraints apart from delivery. :-)

Thank you for the advise.

Hi Everyone,

I have been following this topic as I am also a December 2012 applicant. Quick overview of my progress so far:
- received RPRF fee and Medicals request
- RPRF fee paid day of, medicals complete and submitted via eMed through the doctor

Being from a visa exempt country, it is my understanding that COPR will be sent to me via email. The final step is the landing process. I am going on vacation to Florida on December 15th and returning on January 4th. My hope is that I will receive the COPR email while on vacation and can complete the landing process upon my return...

Two quick questions:
1. How long do you have to complete the landing process after receiving COPR and will this be a concern if I am out of the country during this time?
2. After landing, the next step is then to apply for the PR card?
