Someone from December should receive Medical request this week as per the trend.
Let us see who will be the first one

Can someone tell me what AOR stands for. All these abbreviations are confusing.

Any one have any updates from December applicants? ECAS status changed or additional documents requested or GCMS Eligibility in Progress ? Looks like they dint even start looking at December applications.. :(

So much for the hope of getting an answer this fall! Strike, summer vacations, applications piling up...I have a feeling that the 13 month processing time will become a harsh reality. ???

Yes friend, you betta believe it!. Besides they covered themselves eh 8)

I'm afraid to tell the applicants with NOC 4012 that they would be likely rejected.
An applicant from September has been informed that being RA won't be considered as a canadian experience since it is toward getting the PhD degree, and therefore an unlucky rejection might be on the way for other similar applicants as well :S

This is interesting... can you kindly share the link where this case could be read, if there is any? thanks.

That is true! I applied in mid Sept... I received my GCMS last month.... they said they did not count my RA since its part of study towards my Masters/PhD degree! The file is in review now (says review required on it) and no decision has yet been made on the file... just hoping the second reviewer is nice... but I feel 99% it will be rejected! The first review of my eligibility was done on 10th May and since thn it has been in queue for review!
There is one more person in Sept list who also got the same thing on her notes! An aug applicant got rejected on the same basis!

So all people with RA hours (acquired during Masters and PhD), if you are lucky you will get it or else start looking to see if you are eligible for PhD Stream.. which apparently allows the same RA and TA hours to be counted towards your 1 year full time work ???

Hi, are those RA been rejected since they are currently holding a study permit instead of a work permit?
Thanks for any comments.

Nope... they say RA work cannot be counted as work since its part of the study (doesnt make sense since the same RA is counted for FSW-PhD stream and they are okay with that AND lots of people have got PR based on TA and RA hours previously! They have been rejected for people from July 2012 for some reason!). There is no mention of work permit in my Notes, they do allow my TA hours (which only amount to 560 hours).

Someone from aug got the reason that RA pay amounts to T4A pay not T4 i.e. its not taxed so cannot be counted as work!
