How nice would it be if they could follow a fairly consistent ECAS process for all?
I appreciate that they don't want to give away too much info for security reasons, but really?
1) Your application has been received.
2) We sent you an AOR on XXXXXXXX.
3) We have started to review your application package
4) Your application has been reviewed and an initial decision has been made. We will contact you regarding this.
5) Your application is in process.
6) We sent you communication regarding medicals, please follow these instructions carefully.
7) Your medical results have been received.
8) We have started the final processing of your application.
9) A decision has been made on your application. We will contact your shortly regarding this decision.
10) Application completed.
Really? Would it really be that hard to adapt their management system to provide this kind of info with the flow of the process? Even if it took 6 months in between each stage, I think all applicants would be so much more at ease with the process.
The lack of inconsistency between ecas, mr, bio, rprf, ppr and general correspondence is what causes the bulk of concern for applicants.
