As per the proposal, effective 2013 the 2 years for Canadian experience will be reduced to 1 year ....However this is not yet official ...

I guess Dec applicants are on 'wait and watch' mode preferring to wait for the new guidelines to set in Jan 2013 and then apply.

Does it make sense for applicants who have already acquired 2 years in December apply with 1 year of new criteria in Jan / or post Jan along with other candidates?

I dont think so ..they can / should apply in December and lock in their date time of December..

What do you think?

Guys, if you have completed 2 years, go ahead and apply.....I do not see a reason for waiting until Jan to apply..

I december applicant. I think you should delete this thread, too many talking and unneccessary discusion was done in the begining. Start something like what the other months have with the table of name, appl filed, Aor receive and so on so people can now add names and communicate on what is happening now in aplication. I think if do this people will start to communicate more.

I am also applying in Dec(in a weeks time if I get clarity to couple of important question), one of which is the following.

I have no Family name both in Passport and IETLS mark sheet.

When I apply under CEC category what I should enter in "Family Name" section.

One of the lawyer asked me to take one of my given names and put it under family name and explain in a seperate letter the reason for the same.

What should I do, listen to lawyer or enter what is in my passport(like enter the name in Given Names and mark Family name as "Not applicable)

If one has already sent the original IELTS result with FSW application which is stuck, how do we get another copy for CEC application?

The best action to do is to call the center you took your test at, and ask them. You can also go through their webpage in particular. They definitely have the forms and the required documents for ordering another copy.
I already have done this as well (for 20$).

Hey guys! I am also planning to submit my CEC in December. I am filling in all the application forms now, but I am wondering my status is single, should I add any information of my parents under the Dependants? and some application forms can not type in through the PDF file, can I simply print the forms out and fill in by black pen? Also, immigration office requested for processing the applications is still CPP-O or not?
