For me it took 4 days

Give it a couple of days indeed, just make sure you use the correct combination of information - either UCI + sponsor information ( last name only, no first name, no initial), or file number ( usually starting with F) + applicant information. For some people it can take up to a week to get it working, but it doesn't matter because your file gets transferred to the VO anyway ( well if after 2 weeks you can't log into ecas then you should contact CIC), and there is not much info on ecas apart from "application received" for quite a while before any movement...

Thanks for the info regarding ECAS. I have tried to view the file and it keeps saying info not valid.

I am going to wait until after the holidays to try again.

Welcome to the thread!
If you want to be added to the spreadsheet, then please let me know when you sent your application (20/12?), if you know when it was received, when you have done the medicals ( well your wife), and which VO will handle your application, and I can add you if you wish.

Hi all,
For those of us who will probably hear from cic in January, the processing time is inreased to 43 days now. I guess it's because of the holidays and it may take longer now. So some of us may actually hear from them in Feb.
