if we look at our chart, the average waiting time is around 7.9 months,
but whyy damascus 13 , this is an exagerated number...

Do you know when they contact us after second medical exam? I had done my second exam in 11 of July and Paris received in 18 of July , and some of you said it need only 10 days to add to the system.


about 13 months in Damascus office , it is Haram they do not care about families and feeling , I have no idea , just increase the fees for application and hire more stuff. or any application accept pay more , whatever, just let families be together faster.

and the problem in most of the countries have been increased too, so is it immigration target or really more people are applying.

At the candian embassy in Beyrouth they increased the processing time for study permit applications from 5 to 6 weeks.
At Damascus office it jumped also from 2 to 4 weeks.

Does anyone know much about a visitors visa? I am in Canada and my husband is in Iran. Are we able to apply for a visitors visa while we are waiting for the permanent resident application? Our 3 kids are missing their Baba soooooo much and now that the processing time is 13 months I've lost hope I just want him home!

A+M, my wife applied for visitor visa for last year but they rejected her stating she has not have strong ties for returning back to Iran when her visa's expires. It is very unlikely to get a visa while you have immigration application in process.

Thanks Ali_M3. I am sure they would say the same thing to my husband.... I think it would be hard to prove he would go back when he has wife and kids here This process is frustrating...... hopefully good news for everyone soon!
