my status changes to "in process" . They started on his application on Oct 12.
I hope They finish it soooooon.
I think we're goonna have greaaaaaaaaaat week ishalaaaaa !!!!
I have 2 questions
1) background check is basically for military ? so if they didn't go to military, maybe this process take less time?
2) if the sponsored person travel over seas duration the process, he has to inform VO office about this travel ?

I think they're relatively accurate. If you want to order it, I believe it's too early.

I've already ordered them, and I don't think it's too early I sent my file in 2011 in July. It's been a year and so...

Hi feverdreams, there's a thread on the subject of GCMS notes, and bunch of us have been discussing a few points, including your query. We really don't know how often they are supposed to put the notes down. I just hope it's as soon as they do something on the files.

Thank you for the link. Yes it does seem to be confusing since you can't trust anything they say now. My files seemed to be touched 3 times within june-august so I am hoping that is a good sign.

sure, any question 7 years ! we knew each other since 2004,we got engaged 2009( which i didn't mention that in my documents) and we got married Feb 2012.
I send pics ( from 2004 till my wedding and honeymoon)
I send 3,4 emails and translate it by myself under the email. We have lots emails but most of them are pics, or something we want to remind for example. But emaile eshgholane ke beshe tarjome kard 3,4ta onam daghoon and my translation is daghooontar
my cellphone bill which was for last Oct,Non, Dec that I was in Canada ( to show we were connected)
That's it I guess
I know you you are worried cause I am too but lets hope there is nothing to worry. we didn't lie to them... we didn't make any documents, everything is real.
I am too happy to join this forum, I have no idea how i can handle this if I feel alone... now I know there are lot of people like me

we have sent telephone bill, chat history n emails but not d content of them (not eshghulane email, just pics or some funny emails 8) )! we printed d pages which show we have emails from 2008 n chats from 2010 when my hubby moved to Canada n before that time we talked over d phone in Iran so we don't have any evidence!
+ honeymoon pics, photos of marriage ceremony ( i have to mention that we don't have a big ceremony, just 20 pple attended)
n some other stuff! hope what we have sent was enough!

this is the email they have on the bottom of the forms to email it too. i just mailed the application via canada post.
i was not inprocess yet when i applied but had been in ankara for four months...but while waiting for the response my husbands status was updated to inprocess...
as for the tracking thing..im not sure...to be honest im pessimistic just cuz all ur personal info is going on to an application...i havent signed up for it...and i dont think i will be either...

I 've encountered a problem with hotmail. I can not load hotmail at all for the last two days , neither can I open ecas !!!!!!!!!!

I don't have Hotmail but I am Ok with ecas. Probably, sth wrong with your browser.
