I'm not sure about this, but I have heard this from a couple different people, please correct me or if you have any other information please let me know your thoughts.

I have heard that these spousal applications are and should be processed quicker than other applications because by-law its illegal to keep a couple away from each other for such a long period of time, due to many reasons.

This so called "fiance" application used to be processed within 3-6 months altogether, I dont understand why it takes just 90 days for just part 1 to be completed, and thats if we are lucky.

Has anyone else heard about this law about not keeping spouses away from each other for a long period of time as well??

please let me know your thoughts or any information you may have please...

i know many people have been waiting for a LOOOONG time... its very hard.. is there anything we can do?? legally they shouldnt keep us away from our spouses :( namardie :(

namardiye ,vali ki tavajoh mikone :(

I have a question....my wife's medical exam will expire in 5 days...and it's been approx 7 months and half that my file is recieved...do you sugesst to wait a bit and then let her redo her medical exam ? cuz its been only 7 months that they recieved the application for PR, and i dont think i'm that lucky to get the visa in 2-3 more months.....what do u guys think? cuz i dont want her to do it ealry and then it gonna expire again and have to redo it for a 3rd time lol....cuz the first medical exam was done 2 months before we submit our application to CIC...and on october 12 I got approved and the waiting game started for us...

I think no need to redo the medical because they issued a new law so look at this :

Care to say that in English so we can all know what you're saying, as several people have asked on multiple occasions?

It's great news, showing they are showing some mercy in allowing you to land in Canada several months after your medical has expired.

If there is such a law, my lawyer and MP's asst. have never heard of it. The Minister said most cases are processed in under 12 months, but that's not currently the case for most embassies as anyone can see from looking at the latest published numbers from January.

there is no point no one listens lol now the new thing is when you get PPR write in English. So anything else they type excludes pretty much half the forum or even more. I actually check daily and can only read a few posts or make sense of a few post. Just give up my friend. We've tried before you and it only turns hostile, here comes the negatives on my profile. :D

My husbands expired a few days ago and he is going to go do it again soon. Because if you think about it the next time it would expire would be June 05 2013 so most likely your spouse would be here, God willing. however, it's up to you if I were you I would wait no longer than August because that at least gives you two months before it has been a year.
