Guys,
Do any of you know when faridzad went to Ankara did they book any appointment in advance or if they sent an email or something saying they were going or not or they just show up at the embassy and asked for someone???
also if they talked to the consulates or they asked for someone in immigration section??

I THINK THE MOST IMPORTANT NECESSITY IS THAT TO BE A CANADIAN CITIZEN OTHERWISE I DO NOT THINK YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO GO INSIDE EMBASSY.

dear rah, I got an email on March14 this yr saying ur file was transfered to Ankara. it doesn't say when exactly transfered though. also i cant verify where this email came from, whether Mississauga or An Ankara.
Hi. Thanks
You are lucky that aleast you got conformation on march 14 that it was sent to damascus.
The reason I asked was because i got a letter saying my file is being transfered to damascus in october. Then in january I found out my file was still in canada and the I found out all files after june or july were kept in canada until all the files already in damascus are transfered. I called cic every week and got the same answer they don't know when my file will leave canada. Until march thay told me that my file was transfered to ankara on march 2. Basicly the first letter was a big lie.
I think the email was from ankara . But usually in the bottom says where it is sent fron or even the email address of missisaga is different from ankara

Yeah. They don't let permanaent reisdents to get in. Atleast in Tehran was like that. Plus you need to satisfy the person in the front that you have a good valid reason to go in. Like in farid's case that he waited so much longer than normal processing time

Dear friend , we didn't book appointment . there is no need to it.

hello farid jan

again very happy for you dadash,

The visa section is going to be closed not the whole embassy, of course .
It doesn't affect us who 're applying for permanent residency.

good luck

dash mehdi , thanks for your nice comments

mehdi jan , i don't think so .visa office is closed means there is anyone in there for handeling and working on any process EVEN PICK UP PASSPORT.

so we have to wait for another PPR and see what should we do >?

maybe they sent PPR for submitting our passport IN PERSON.

chakkerim farid jane gol, ishallah we meet someday in montreal, or Toronto . That would be so nice to meet good friends like yoourself.

hopefully they 've thought about the issues before closing the visa section in Tehran.
however it doesn't concern u anymore, multiple entry visa rocks dude.

cheers

Hi,

My wife has received PPR and send her pass around 8 weeks ago(to Ankara visa Canadian embassy in Tehran), we did not hear any news and now I don't know how we can have her passport back. I emailed the Ankara office twice, called them several times, but they don't answer. Before, we were planning to live in Canada, but now my wife cannot even leave iran, because they have her passport.
