This day will definitely come, it's a matter of time... And the news today shows beyond doubt that the VOs are working and our celebration time is around the corner... Hopefully sooner rather than later...

I'll assume that the lawyer is correct........I'm feeling so sorry for A+M....why it has taken so long for her case?

Yes Siavash.. Vivi Jan is right. our lawyer received a letter from Damascus may 30 2011 asking for the final fee. We paid as soon as we received the letter on June 6 and CIC confirmed they notified Damascus of the payment on June 26 (took 3 weeks to process payment) our lawyer also told us this was the last step and we would hear PPR next..... that was almost 10 months ago! I was shocked when they sent the letter because we had only been in process for less than 2 mths! I was so naive to think we were one of the lucky ones to get PPR fast! Ha! I sincerely hope that your friend has better luck and will receive PPR very soon! It is a good sign that Ankara is working

Guys, have you noticed that this week has been good, in the sense that there were many positive signs that proved beyond doubt that the VOs are working, after speculations that surfaced recently against that notion!!! I'm extremely happy and I know this is going to be all over soon and the next chapter of our lives would begin with our loved ones.

I remember that your wife had to redo her medical in Canada, did they send it to Ottawa or Paris? Let me know if possible

yes it was received at Damascus on the 3rd of May 2011.

My wife re did her second medical last week. they did not ask for it. She just did it to save time.
