they just asked me to send our passport to embassy of canada in tehran via s commercial courier like DHL no later than 30 day from letter's date and didn't mention the option to get the visa in person in Ankara.

thanks . yesterday i was informed Ankara don't accept in person passport ..just by embassy in Tehran , exactly your case...

he said me , they asked me in ppr MY PASSPORT AND MY CLEAN CRIMINAL RECORD UPDATED ....

Didn't they ask you CLEAN CRIMINAL RECORD UPDATED or u have done currently ?

Actually I sent it 3 months ago after sending my medical papers as they had requested it at that stage.at this stage they asked teh past 6 months bank statement.
I think As Mr. Sohrab has told here that they will start issuing visas from mid march ,now they are
sending the passport request email with one option and 6 weeks waiting time .
I sent them an email and ask about getting the visa in person if it is possible.I will let you know after
receiving their response.

Yes Arezou it is updated... on Monday they added "medical results have been received"

dear , it is not bad sign . we can receive 6 weeks later after sending passport

I cant imagine getting my passport 6 weeks from today let alone 6 weeks after getting the ppr!! it's tooooo late I cant take it anymore...

guys thats not the date of ecase being updated lol , thats the last time they EDITED THE WEBSITE, like the design and logos, everyone's should say 2011-09-19

that doesnt mean thats the last time they changed the status of anyone's case

exactly thats what i thought, and since you mentioned the 6 weeks thing it makes sense that its going to be mid march as thats the information i got, after all this waiting i congratulate you my friend,

arezou jan everyone has that date, that just the website date, you dont even have to punch in file number if you visit

you will see at the bottom 19-09-2011, that means thats the last time the page editors/web masters either changed the layout of the page or posted something new, it has NOTHING to do with personal cases

my friend let me remind you, even when damascus was running normally, they never said COME PICK IT UP, when i applied there was no protests or anything like that and people still had to use the tehran embassy, some people didnt listen and went to syria, yes they are not going to turn you away but they much rather do everything by mail, they try to keep the pickups for local applicants but when i was in Damascus i saw so many Iranians there getting into fights with embassy staff , in ALL PPR emails it says use COURIER

no problem , it was funny arezou and farid were panicking that it hasnt been updated since september hahaha even if the VISA OFFICER is logged in RIGHT NOW the date at the bottom wont change unless they edit the front page
