I tried calling damascus now to ask some questions but apparently they are closed and they say to call the 24/hour emergency center in ottawa at (613) 996-8885. I wonder if they really stay open 24/7 hmm damascus should take notes !!!!! Lol

Called the 613 number useless its not even to inquire about files or anything the lady told me its for canadian citizens distress abroad whatever that means lol

Just a question...my husband's medicals expire on November 9th. We plan on re-doing them once they expire (probably re-do same day, or within 2 days). My question is should we send in the medical results to the embassy right away? Or wait until they ask for updated ones (assuming they haven't contacted us by then)? What have other people done???

for me I send e-mail 3 weeks ago regarding same problem but received no answer, so what am gone do is simply I will call the doctors in damascus just to ask them if I need to redo it or not

I decided to redo it thats it am tired.

they should have people doing week ends too cause while it closed were waiting and maybe they could issue 10 extra visas each week while theyre not working .....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
