I tried calling damascus now to ask something theyre not een answering phone calls can someone plz try to call and see i press 0 and it says u have reached the voicemail bla bla bla key in the extension of the person you wish to speak or wait .. I wait and well ofcourse the msg just keeps repeating itself... Booo!

for me I send e-mail 3 weeks ago regarding same problem but received no answer, so what am gone do is simply I will call the doctors in damascus just to ask them if I need to redo it or not

I decided to redo it thats it am tired.

Hmm ya I guess maybe it would be better to send them in before they ask, if they don't ask before Nov. 9th. That way they have them if they need them. Maybe I'll try calling the embassy and asking them what the best way to do that is...

When I called them I had to try 3 times until I actually got to speak to someone. She was just like the secretary or something but then she put me through to someone else. The first time I tried, I just got an automatic message. The second time I got put on hold and then disconnected. Then finally the third time was the charm! Just try a few times and I'm sure you'll get through.

My wife's medical has expired one month ago. Our file has been in process since october 2010. I emailed Damascus (septmber 2011) regarding status and they said: Please be advised that your wife's application is in queue for review by the responsible officer. When a decision is made or we require any additional information or documents, you or your spouse will be contacted.

I tried again right now and to my surprise when I pressed 0 someone replied at first i didnt answer and the lady was like helllooooo lol I thaught it was the answering machine. i have remember that i called embassy 2 months ago so only secretary attend ..there is one attend very nice n she told me ur file is close i know she doesnot know but she mad me lil bit relaxed n she said now the processing take more time from 9- 14 months i think she ws the same.. she have talked to u hehehe
