hi laleh, i'm behind u with that, i still cannot login in e-cas (the January group is soo big and takes so long to finish ) but all i can say is don't compare urself with other embassies....each embassy is different and has different way...each country is different, the documents r different with different expiry date, so on, i can talk until tomorrow also the processing time is different....i think it's good to see change in e-cas but noone can say how long it still takes after u see that change....be hopeful but without high hopes...i think ur initial approach of not checking often is a very healthy one i'll try to do the same

as a side note: i kept following the Dec thread until u got the approval after that, everyone was at 2nd stage, so i stopped; it's bothering a little to see ppl getting PPR so fast while others wait and wait; and also it's bothering that some believe that the way their embassy processes is the same all over the world, they think they know everything and they confuse the ones from other embassies.....good luck!!! stay in touch!!!

I know some people from December group have already landed and I keep thinking there are people from other regions of the world who have been waiting for more than a year. It's a little bit depressing for people like us who have to wait a longer time. Did you get your AOR? good luck to you too.

yeah it is, that's why i avoid reading those threads, to keep me sane no, no AOR yet their processing times r not accurate anymore, the whole january group is behind, now some who applied in the middle of Jan start to get something so i guess there's still some time ahead of waiting for me....their website says Jan 25th and the processing time 55 days....i passed that and most from the group reached 70 days until they got something!!!! : whatever, we r almost there inshallah, even 70 days is ok, as long as they give us good news

u don't know that.....don't cry!!!! unless u somehow managed to sneak like a ghost and see exactly what they r doing there r members who never had "application in process"; they got their visa without any change in e-cas for maybe one year....i guess maybe now their e-cas says in process LOL

Atleast dictionary meaning of in process is not final stage.
The meaning of in process explained by cic is not
Common sense says that for a file transfered in march it can't be ahead of somone like faridzad. Evey case is different but as a genral rule they should give some priority yo older case. Not a need to be a gohst to understand that concept. Anyways I said lots of unexpected things happens here.

That is what I say to. It is unfair that some people wait longer but when I say some people say every case is different. Yes it is. But not that much different to make a year or more difference
