Okay so I have a question, if we put in our file when it was at 8 months processing time does the 10 month process time now apply or is it still the 8 month? When my file got there it was at 8 months processing.

hi i think it will be for new applicant..when the rule has been changed it is for newer..when i applied it was 8 months toooooo....i hope that their rule is same as the other rules and not have an exeption...

actually the report says that 80% of applications which has been finished in 2010 are done within 10 months.

Saman I think maybe you should e-mail them or call them with a message saying Urgent Medical will expire. BEcause their e-mail is non-sense your medical hasn't even expired..

Between mailing the questionaire and supporting documents it looks like they have never recieved our full package. some info which my lawyer send damasucs do not have that. now I am trying to collect all info to resubmit before my medical expire . the problem is that when you submit info we dont recieve confirmation for recieveing documents or what documents therefore i have to resubmit all again questionaire and million other information up to date for me and my spouse.

I feel sorry about that news, hope every thing will be ok, just one simple question, have you sent your document by registered post or regular one?if you've sent it by registered one you could have tracked your package.did you do that or not?

it was sent by registered mail i have feeling it could be lost somehow between the lawyer office and damascus office. after sending an inquiry we recieved a reply that a decision will be made soon however requested documents were never recieved

my medical will expire in 15 days i called my lawyer and he told me to wait until they make a request .cuz sometimes they can extend the medical but the medical has to be valid when you land in canada so i guess we have to wait its sad that we only have that option so hope everyone will get good news soon .
