i have Decison Made undor sponsorship appoval, but the PR it says, recvd July 4/2011. So now im confused.... how long for that to takeplace ?

You were approved in CIC but not in Damascus or in Ottawa(pilot office). The process contains two stages and they are dependent on each other, the processing time for the second stage is 13 month from the time the office received the file. Your file might be processed faster since it is in Ottawa, but I dont know. I heard (not sure if it is true )that the files in the pilot office in Ottawa were sent back to Damascus, your lawyer should know that.

I havent been on this site for long but I was always reading the messages. Just to let you know, I sent in my file to Mississauga on May 6,2011, got the approval letter for sponsoring my husband on June 8, 2011. My file is now in Ottawa. Checked my file #, and it says DECISION MADE. Called my lawyer, he said congratulations, it is a matter of days that I will get the confirmation letter in writing and then my husband will have to get his visa....Im shocked, because it has been 4 months and a half....OMG im so happyyyyy. So good luck for everyone, but I think the files that were sent to Ottawa are on the fast track....
So if you wanna add my name to the list, it will be great.

cuz we all have decision made under the first column for sponsor . that's when you first send you file to Mississauga an they approve u? ur lawyer should know that? but I still hope for u that ur husband gets his visa soon

Did you get the residential questionnaire ? And is the decision made under the permanent residence application status or Sponsorship application status Tab?

I have decision made but only under sponsorship application status tab and thats because thats the 1st stage approval. Hope its well as you thaught inshallah

hey giminibella ...my hubby got approval of sponsership looong time ago i meant after we applied in one month n half .. he got it ..we thought we r lucky ...but when the application have reached damascus the journey of toturing have started my hubby called MP last month they told him that embassy finished reviewing the application n now it is in prosses to next stage ..this mad me reallyyyyyyy confused ??? wat is the next stage ?? good luck

That means your file has been in rpoccess since july 4th. You should start counting from then
