Hi. I'm Iranian and my wife is in Iran. My wife did her medical exam I think 10 days before we submitted application to Mississauga. About RQ (residency questionnaire form), it is a simple form with no important information, so don't worry. Although, when they send you RQ you can know your file number through their email.

yeah the most useless 9 questions ive ever seen , i dont understand why they dont just send it to everyone at the same time, anyways good luck to you bashar and welcome again

ramz27 its just luck,it doesnt matter from where.Don't panic,I didn't get anything yet and im before Bashar.My timeline is:sent to cic Jan5and received indamascus on Feb7 2011 but why does it always say "application received"?when does that change to in process?or it doesnt change they just send you RQ and whatever they want without knowing on CAS.

about the application received im not sure why but ill ask u to do something when u received the e mail from mississauga approving ur sponsorship request they sent u a client number its only numbers and its 8 digits .try to go to www.cic.gc.ca click on check application status then dont enter immigration file number ...enter CLIENT number the enter the number then ur last name ur date of birth and country where u were born and see what it gives u then let me know.

ramz, this does show different results for some people, but like for me it doesn't matter if i log in with my info or my husband's, its just "application received". i don't think its important tho

u see vivi me its different if i log in with bxxxxxx file its only application received on xx , if i log in with client number i see 2 lines one with application received on xx and one with application in process since xx its weird

my guess is if it shows "in process" then its in process, but if its "application received" for 5.5 months and people around the same timeline as you have "in process" then your file is in in process too and they just haven't updated ecas! lol!
