well if it turns out that a citizen is living outside canada, he/she would have to provide more documents showing plans for going back and living in canada. but if it turns out that a pr is living outside canada his/her sponsorship application will be refused.shazdehTheSecond said:agreed.
there is no difference between PR or citizenship. one should prove that he or she lives in canada to be able to sponsor his or her wife.
there is no limit on visit. in fact it's good for your relationship proof.
whether you are citizen or PR, if it turns out that you are living outside canada, then you will have to provide different documents.
pr s can go for a visit, but just a visit, and a visit means 2-3 weeks, not 2-3 months, so there is some time limitations.
of course not all rules make sense but these are the rules!
