there is no difference between PR or citizenship. one should prove that he or she lives in canada to be able to sponsor his or her wife.

there is no limit on visit. in fact it's good for your relationship proof.


whether you are citizen or PR, if it turns out that you are living outside canada, then you will have to provide different documents.

well if it turns out that a citizen is living outside canada, he/she would have to provide more documents showing plans for going back and living in canada. but if it turns out that a pr is living outside canada his/her sponsorship application will be refused.
pr s can go for a visit, but just a visit, and a visit means 2-3 weeks, not 2-3 months, so there is some time limitations.
of course not all rules make sense but these are the rules!

abt residing outside vivi explained it very well, follow her advice i'm Canadian outside and have lots of extra stuff to show plus i'm ready mentally to still have lots to show/proof during the process

Really Sohrab you work on inland spousal sponsorship for immigration ???
So if you are really an officer for the immigration, I just have one question
how long does it take for new medical to reach Damascus? Is it really 4-6 weeks? or can it be less?

haha what do you mean if you are really an officer, why would i make up my job , but it takes less dear, its just that when documents arrive they dont process it right away, that why they give long time lines

No, it won't matter. At the time I was applying I didn't have the option c either, I became a pr in the last days of 2010 so I didn't have my taxes filed for that year, I explained this for them. My guess is even if it did matter CPC-Mississauga would have returned our application, asking for it. So my guess is we're ok, they just need that option c to check that we're not on welfare. I've seen so many people in other threads telling that they didn't have the option c either. Don't worry azizam :-*
