I'm just wondering, how come you have this info if you didn't receive the letter of approval from CIC?
because once you receive the letter of approval, you would find your client ID number, and with that number you would login and see all the info you had.
for me CIC received our application on November 2, on Dec 2 I received a letter in the mail saying I was approved for sponsorship, in the letter I found my client ID number , by using my client ID number I found out that I was approved for sponsorship on November 29, and it took them 3 days to send the letter, therefore I received the letter in the mail on Dec 2.

I was wondering the same?? maybe he called the call centre

nagz we r still waiting cuz our application is not complete yet + we want to see how the situation develops in Syria; we r really confused :-\ ...yes we r both outside Canada and yes i did study there some time ago maybe we have common friends LOL

Wardeh it's really exception of exception for them to extend medicals for outland applications; for inland it happens but for outland not really...plus u see people on this thread who had to redo their medicals, it means in general they don't extend

guys u can check ur sponsorship status with the receipt id i think (from the payment slip) before u get ur client id from the embassy...if i'm wrong pls correct me...the receipt id is for the sponsor, the client id is useful for the applicant especially if they request additional docs

there's also laguna beach near saida it's a realllllly nice resort and they have bungalows asian style it's quite nice. i don't know how much it costs though. check the website maybe you'll have more info??

I use my old immigration file number (the one I used to get my PR as skilled worker) it shows both, my old application status and my wife new application status.

That's what I did too, before receiving the letter from CIC. Also if the fees have been paid online the e-cas can be logged in with the receipt's codes.
But Abdmoh, I'm sure you have been approved without any problems, because people say when CPC-M returns the application package in case of not being complete, it is stated in the e-cas that "we have returned your application package"! So congratulations on your first stage approval!

I also wanted to share an idea with you to see what you think.... what if we have a canadavisa.com meet and greet barbeque in Ottawa or Montreal or Toronto..... one of the major cities at the end of August or September while the weather is still nice. I think it would be nice to meet some people who went through this with us.... let me know what you think and maybe inbox me your email address if you are interested and we will go from there

I didn't receive an email or a letter from them saying that they have received my file, but my e-cas, under the "Application for permanent residency" section, changed to "Application Received" after about 10 days of the Mississauga approval.

insomnia valah ! i cant sleep, its been 3 days now.... 1, 2 hours a night maximum, and its funny the 1, 2 hours dont happen at night its during the day lol
