Getting so hacked off how long this process is taking! i know i am at the beginning of this process but I think it's very unfair that some VO processing time is so much faster than others while it should take the same time to process the same type of visas!!
sorry i don't want to be pessimist but seeing some people here waiting 4 more than a year make me feel like this!

It's sad. But I know Ankara's got a lot more organized compare to 4,5 months ago. I'm sure the new processing time update (their December update) will be approximately 10 months. 99% of people waiting since late 2011 to early 2012 will get visa before or right after winter holidays, I assure you

ahhahah and the 1% waiting since early 2011 is me, yayee me,, im so darn lucky looolll i cant believe that i have been waiting for 20 month and a week almost, woooow immigration canada says family reunification has the highest priority on their website, a little hard to believe if you ask me,.. but lets keep our hopes up for the 3 week of october..

if i'm not wrong u r a day ahead of me, my file was transferred to Ankara on August 23th n still "Application Received"!
i guess 4 u it shows "In Process" n it is a good sign which means they started processing your application
how do u know the exact time of transferring your application? my hubby got d approval email on August 23th n in d approval email they said that our file has been transferred to Ankara!

i got approved on August 9th and on ecas it said that i had been approved on the 8th and that the file was transfered to Anakara, then on August 22nd the ecas status changed to in Process as of August 22nd... Inshala they work on everyones files very fast so that by the end of the year we will all be with our spouses

But i think they should have a company policy in my opinion...i know for the company i work in we have a deadline of November 30th which is our yearend we have to have everything finished..!! i wish Ankara will implement that policy and finish alllll the files they have by November 30th so that everyone can spend Christmas with their spouses that would be the dream come true for all
