They are really stupid...You have to hear what they asked from one of my friends who applied in the SF category 3 years ago. It is unbelievable.

Guys I think the officer who is responsible for pprs is on vacation. What the heck is going on in Ankara?

it is one stupid reason to hold everyone back because of some senseless background screening..i understand and agree with all the screening when it comes down to someone that might hurt canada and its people..but not all of the applicants have connections to the gov, most of them dont even like that government so why should we pay for the mistakes of others again...im sick and tired of this senseless processing, its stupid!!!...and im tired of the excuses cic makes...atise said:

hahhahah it should take like 10 min thats a good one,,,but come onnn i have been waiting for a good 4-5 month for this stupid background checks..what the hell is there for these assholes to check???? my husband did his military service not because he wanted too but because he had no other choice...and not everyone that does military service become terrorists and killers..common people do it because they wana have passports, be able to get a licence and own a house not to become a threat to people...not everyone that are trying to get out of that country pose threats they are just trying to get to their loved oness.. cic has become a living nightmare for most people especially those that live in iran,, unfair all the way through...anyways, there goes another week and my damn waiting still continues....

Getting so hacked off how long this process is taking! i know i am at the beginning of this process but I think it's very unfair that some VO processing time is so much faster than others while it should take the same time to process the same type of visas!!
sorry i don't want to be pessimist but seeing some people here waiting 4 more than a year make me feel like this!

It's sad. But I know Ankara's got a lot more organized compare to 4,5 months ago. I'm sure the new processing time update (their December update) will be approximately 10 months. 99% of people waiting since late 2011 to early 2012 will get visa before or right after winter holidays, I assure younelly* said:Getting so hacked off how long this process is taking!
