yeh i actually didnt know about this too...someone from here told me a while back if u write complaint in the subject line, then it apparently goes to a different section of the embassy or something and then it is send to the officer that is handling your file, now with that being said, it has worked for me and i can tell its different officers writing back to me, as the emails i get back, one has the wording colored blue and it almost never says hi,. hello, and the other one is always written in black calour and it always says dear applicant, please blah blah. again i have noticed this for the last 2 month since i started writing complaint in my subject line, this might not work for everyone or the officer might be just messing with me but this is what i have noticed.....
write complaint in the subject line, and go on writing, Dear visa officer, and introduce yourselve, with ur wife's name and file number, and write that you are very concerned and worried about the unknown status and stages that your file has passed/is at,, any new information about your file is greatly appreciate..blah blah u know the drill ahhah and inshalla ull hear something useful back soon...

also i saw 3 email addresses for Ankara vo, which one I have 2 use if i wanna email them?

here is the email add that i use "re-ankara-​im-enquiry@​internation​al.gc.ca", and i often use the online case specific inquiry too, i have used both in the last week and they work...

Kazhal, did they reply back to you? bc I send them an email about 3 months ago but they didn't reply back to me.

today 1 year passed from the day i applied for mu hubby...but I am sure we will all get it soon : I am planning to write another email to them again.

yeh, they always do within 2 days i get an email back saying we are awaiting the results of the background checks, please know that these checks are done by outside agencies, and hence we dont have control over it..blah blah blah....i have got this message back so many time that i have memorized their email word for word ahahha....

how long have you been waiting??? im guessing they answer me back because i have waited for far too long, at some point back in the day when i was at 10 month they never replied back to any of my emails, thats when i found other alternatives, eg, jason kennys, mp, other mps of diff political parties..and ultimately calling but i was never successful in talking to an agent. .. sorry for the long repetitive messages, the members of this forum are now gana be like now why the hell did she come back, she should just disappear lool...promise no more comments..good night you guys.

yeah, I think they reply back to you bc of your timeline...well, for my husband file, today is exactly one year from the day I send his documents and 10 months from the approval...and also I am a canadian Citizen, so I am outside of Canada living with my hubby, so dunno if this matters or not...but still,,,I wanna go back,,,and I hate waiting But I will wait for another week before I send another email. The only time they replied back to me was when the transferred his file to Ankara....

Kazhal, I know my timeline is nothing coparing to yours...but I get stressed

dont stress over it hun, stress is not gana get you anywhere, trust me on this i have been stressed for days and weeks, and it just drove me nuts and it didnt get me anywhere....you live with your husband be happy while you are there because when you come home your gana miss these days like crazy..i think your gana hear back from them soon, for one you are living with your husband so that is a bonus there, which proves that you marriage is genuine at least is their eyes....now listen to me, just when you get close to getting stress, think of me and you will feel better i promise you... and thunx you guys are all so kind to me, love you all <3<3

Hi guys , i am new at this , I mail my spouse application on june 25th 2012 , and got the email form immigration on sep 4th , say that the application was aproved and been forwarded to Ankara, when I checked the waiting time , it was increased from 7 to 15 month , I did some more digging and found out it is between 6 to 12 month , does anyone know what is going on over there?
