thanks for the response, but do you know what type of medical is required for a child that is 4 months old? I read somewhere that blood test is only for 5 years + and the X-Ray is for 11 years +

your thoughts...

Ankara: 20 % of cases completed in 2 months, 30 % in 2 mo., 50 % in 3 mo., 70 % in 5 mo., & 80% in 6 mo..

I'm crossing my fingers since it's now 4.5 months since we are in process . hopefully by the end of 2012 everyone of us get precious PPR .

Not yet. however they might ask for medical since it just passed the one year expiration .

so i just read the actuall link...on the bottom the guy says that those are what he thinks to be true....
so i guess they are not acurate at all...and honestly by looking at the dates of this forum....everyone seems to have been in process for more than a year...so i really dont know...although it would be nice for 70% of applicants to get an answer in 5 months...

I would assume these were accurate BEFORE ankara received all the files from Damascus and Tehran. I would think it is impossible to give an accurate timeline right now while they are completely back logged from 2 closed embassies sending their files to them. Their website also says that the timeframe refers to applicants from turkey and those who do not reside in turkey will have a longer processing time. Our chart proves it is not accurate.... Too many of us waiting over a year.
On another note we sent off all requested docs yesterday.... Should arrive to embassy by Thursday

My husband needs Authorization to return to canada -ARC (long story). They asked us on June 28 to supply ARC payment, RCMP fingerprint check and a statement of why he should be allowed to return. We were originally told the fingerprint check would take 6-8 months for the RCMP to complete. Thankfully we were able to find a much quicker way to get it done and they will have everything 4 weeks after requesting

and after how long did they ask you this?

Don't freak out ARC is pretty rare (I think!... There's only been one other person on this forum that I know of who needed it. He was on last year) my husband was originally in Canada. Didn't leave when he was supposed to which results in needed ARC. Damascus received our application in April 2011 so we were in process for over 14 months before they asked for ARC. The other person that needed ARC got his PPR about 1 month after they requested his ARC payment... I'm praying we are this lucky!! We supplied a few extra letters from professionals outlining the affects my husbands absence is having on our 3 kids. They haven't seen their dad for 20 months. They can deny ARC, but we are praying for a quick and positive outcome.

And yes the system shocks me too... They say family reunification is priority but I have a hard time believing that..... He has missed so much of their young lives and so many memories we can never get back But can't change the system so have to believe everything for a reason and take whatever positive we can learn from it.
