hey guys, my husband lives in iran, and i honestly dont know if there is something special about our file because ankara does not say much of anything to anyone. and the doc they recently asked for was an original copy of our marriage certificate in persian as they only had the translation..and we were asked to pay the landing fee, now i had paid my lawyer back in 2011 and he had not sent this..and i was told to wait for background checks as Canada believes/think my hubby is a criminal or something..anyways thunx for the worm wishes hun, and inshallah it will end for all of us real soon.

to be honest with you..i think your lawyer didnt do a good job...becuase usually with the translation they also take a photocopy of the original aswell...and also he should have advised you guys to pay the landing fee ahead of time as well to prevent delays...but looking at the forum..most people whom applied in the past year or the following are starting to see progress
i dont think you have much more waiting to do anymore
but have u tried contacting them?
it has been well over the waiting period

My E-CAS says In-Process and when I click on it it says "We started processing your application on July 17, 2012. ".

Any idea what the anticipated time is to get a Decision-Made status?!

Arash jan, I am not sure but I guess you need to change your case from out-land to in-land. Maybe you d better call and ask CIC for a certain response.

humm... I like that She's from Iran. We submitted after the Damascus CIC was closed though, so we didn't go through the file transfer. I know for temporary visas there's a separate queue for Iranians to preserve the fairness for the people who applied via Damascus. However they don't mention such a queue for permanent resident applications (that's a shame and it's unfair for the people applied earlier).

About the user you're referring to, do you know when their status changed to In-Process?

I hope all of us reunite with our partners soon...
