Question for all... Can the sponsor enter his/her name on ECAS to find any comments updated on the file or is does it have to be the applicant's information? "For example you sponsored so and so on this date, file was received this date " etc..

When you log in with Client ID you use the family name and birth date of sponsor. So the sponsor can easily reach the data inside the e-case.

When redoing the medical, does it have to be done at the same hospital the first medical was done? Day Hospital in Tehran where my wife did her first medical is considerably more expensive (around $290) than the other hospitals so I'm wondering whether it's alright to do it at another (cheaper) hospital instead. No problem. You can do it. I myself did it.

Also, besides taking the medical form (APPENDIX C) with her to the hospital, is anything else she needs to bring with her (e.g. photos)?She needs photos, original passport, home address, home telephone, file number if applicable and of course money

One last question, on the form APPENDIX C where it says "Visa office** that will be processing the file" we are supposed to write Ankara correct? The doctor can automatically fill it. I never filled it.

when I did my first medical examine I did it in certain clinic in Syria and it was certified by CIC and its address was written on the paper with the application forum,her name was Dr.jemma,so now in iraq I cant go to any hospital to do my medical ex,I have to go to certain clinic in Amman its name and address written on the CIC website, I think the Iranian can do their medical ex on any hospital am I right?

Hbehmane jan, I think what you are looking at your e-cas is the part under the "Sponsorship Application", especially that it mentions they sent a letter regarding their decision a few days after they started processing. This section is for the Mississauga part and it should already be "Decision Made". Since you already had the Sponsorship approval I feel it's strange they are going back updating the date they started processing.

The part which is for the local visa office, in our case Ankara, is under the "Permanent Resident Application", now this will either be "Application Received" or "In process".

Either way it is good that they are updating e-cas, maybe it is a result of that survey we all filled saying how useless e-cas is, so they decided to make it a bit useful!

yes, vivi ur right it was under "sponsorship application" but under "permanent resident" section says: We received Azadeh x's application for permanent residence on September 26, 2011.
Medical results have been received.

it would have been better if u redid the medical sooner. but all u have to do is do it again which is emailing the green sheet of ur medical to Ankara vo. thats it.

Yes nenan that when I sent It and after that I was waiting to get approved and it said all that stuff that people have been waiting for 14 months?? appilcaion in process meds recieved and other stuff

i send my application last year, and it was sent over to Damascus on Feb 7th 2011.....it has been 15 month as off today and including the 2 month here, its been 17 month and yeh life suckss.
